DEAR COLLEAGUES!

The collection of scientific papers has been published since 2000, with a periodicity of once a year.

Founder and publisher: Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture.

The collection contains scientific works of scholars, postgraduate students, and lecturers of higher educational institutions of Ukraine and other countries.

Scientific problems of architecture and urban planning are considered from the perspective of regional features, preservation and restoration of architectural monuments, with a special focus on the protection and restoration of architectural heritage. Issues of urban planning, archaeology, architectural design, and architectural environment design are also addressed.

The purpose of the publication ‒ to highlight current problems of architecture and urban planning, modern trends in the development of architectural science, theory and practice of urban environment formation, as well as ways to solve them based on fundamental and applied research, new scientific approaches to design, planning, and territorial development.

The objective of the publication ‒ to publish results of scientific research in the fields of architecture, urban planning, urban studies, and architectural environment design, implementation of innovative solutions in design practice, development of modern concepts for creating a comfortable, functional, and sustainable urban environment.

Exchange of scientific ideas, research methodology, and practical achievements in the field of architecture and urban planning. Providing an information platform for discussion of new theories, concepts, and research approaches.

The collection of scientific papers has been included in the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine in which dissertation results may be published, according to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1279 dated 06.11.2014. Since 2018, the collection of scientific papers has been included in the international scientometric database Index Copernicus.

Since 2023, the collection of scientific papers has been renamed “Scientific Problems of Architecture and Urban Planning”.

Since 2026, the scientific journal “Scientific Problems of Architecture and Urban Planning” is distributed under the terms of the international Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode.en.

The collection of scientific papers “Scientific Problems of Architecture and Urban Planning” follows an Open Access policy, which means that all its content is freely available to users.

Articles submitted for consideration must pass plagiarism checking using StrikePlagiarism.com and must have at least 85% originality.
